Our story
It started at a hackathon
We formed the team on day one and picked the most ordinary problem in the room. By the end of that week, the thing we had built picked up a phone and took a booking.
Day one, a team and a problem
Summer Up Hackatron, summer 2025, through CODE University in Berlin. We formed the team on the first day and went looking for something to build. We did not have to look far. All four of us had worked in gastronomy, so the problem chose itself.
Restaurants and cafés miss calls and messages. Someone wants to reserve, ask a question, or order, and the phone rings while the staff are already running. The booking does not wait. It goes somewhere else, and nobody in the building ever finds out.

What we set out to build
An assistant that takes the call like a person. Handles calls and messages, books the table straight into the calendar, and remembers what the guest actually wanted: the window seat, two cappuccinos, oat milk.
Not a form on a website. Not another inbox for someone to check. The phone rings, something answers, and the booking is in the book.
The call that answered itself
We built it that week with n8n, Twilio and GPT, on far too much coffee, losing a good part of one night arguing with Ngrok tunnels at three in the morning.
Then it worked. The AI picked up a call, answered like a person, and logged the reservation. That was the moment it stopped being a demo. We had all heard that phone ring a hundred times in real jobs and watched nobody get to it. This time something did.

From one week to the real thing
The hackathon ended. The problem did not. So we rebuilt it properly: the phone agent, the chat agent, and the till the booking lands in, as one system instead of three that pretend to know about each other.
We are early, and we would rather say so. No long customer list, no numbers to impress you with. One goal: one restaurant, running Reserve as their real phone line and their real till, for a full month. Not a pilot everyone is polite about. The real thing, on a real Friday night.
We learn from the people using it every day, fix what breaks, and prove it holds. Then we do the next one. If that sounds like your place, we would like to talk to you.
